Trimming the Tree

After letting our tree open up for a day, we turned on the Christmas music and trimmed the tree. Our tree isn't one of the fancy coordinated trees and has ornaments clumped together on one branch by my young helpers. Yet I love looking at the ornaments and thinking of the significance of the specials ones: baby's first Christmas, first Christmas together, childhood ornaments, ornaments passed down from family... Just what I want my tree to be.
