A 6th Birthday

My oldest son turned 6 this week. How time flies! I managed to take some pictures of him even though I was shocked my that my baby is SIX! He started with the normal ipad-before-breakfast routine, headed off to school, and then in the afternoon we had to ask Daddy to come home early from work because John couldn't wait to open his presents. I love that Matthew was just as excited as John to open the gifts, with the favorite being an Angry Birds game. After a quick dinner at Jason's Deli, we celebrated with a dessert request of 'soft chocolate chip cookies' aka Chewy Chips Ahoy. A night where we celebrated one of my favorite boys in the world and  I didn't cook, or bake, was wonderful for me!
