5 on 5: The One About A Foggy Morning

On Monday morning I was at my Camp Gladiator workout nice and early in the morning. Halfway through the workout, a fog rolled in. It is rarely foggy here in the DFW area so I was itching to photograph in this weather. After I dropped of the 2 older boys at school, Thomas and I made a pit stop at the lake. My camera battery was about to die, but the precious thing hung on for the whole trip and I got some practice in foggy photography. I was hoping the fog would be kind of wispy across the water, but really it was just a thick fog all around. Thomas and I enjoyed our relaxing and quiet hour by the lake as I took photos and he 'fished' with sticks he founded tangled up in old fishing wire.

These photos are part of a series of  a '5 on 5' project in which we share 5 photos on the 5th of the month. Please click over to view the photos Eboni of Luxe Art Images is sharing this month.

  3. Just gorgeous. I love the eerily beautiful feeling that fog gives.

  4. Just gorgeous! I absolutely love the images you captured. Great pops of color but still able to feel the weight of that fog.
