Hello, Baby! | Flower Mound Newborn Photographer

A friend of mine asked if I would take photos of her daughters at the hospital meeting their brand new baby sister when she was born. So last week was the big day at Texas Health Presbyterian and this family was the most precious family ever! The big sisters were incredibly sweet and loving not only to the new baby but towards their parents as well. I absolutely loved seeing this family dynamic. Being with them for even just an hour showed how close they were and I could easily see each unique relationship. Both girls were so sweet, caring, and loving with mom yet silly, goofy, and loving with dad. More importantly the two big sisters were enthralled with their new baby sister.  I really think this is shown in the million photos I took of them that hour in the hospital. What a lucky baby to be born into this family! I also enjoyed this style of newborn photography- very candid and real which is what my style is all about.

Bella's Purr-fect Party | Birthday Party Photography, Flower Mound TX

Miss Bella celebrated her 6th birthday with the most precious party ever. Allison, who owns Refreshingly Chic, took the theme of 'kitten' and creatively came up with the cutest kitty party! From kitten ears to kitty adoptions, all the girls at Bella's party had a wonderful time at the birthday party. The guests were absolutely adorable in their kitten accessories and literally meowed the entire party. Allison asked me photograph the kitty fun at the birthday party and I happily obliged. Storytelling photography can't get much easier than photographing the excitement children have during a fun birthday party. I loved capturing all the kitty birthday love!

 

Snow Day in Flower Mound...Again | flower mound photographer

Last week we experienced some unusual winter weather here in Flower Mound, TX. We had a wonderful snow storm with actual fluffy snow, not the icy stuff we typically get in North Texas. So this meant we had two days of sledding, snowball fights, and 'go out in your undies' dares. I think if we had appropriate clothing (ie something better than sweatpants!) the boys would have stayed out all day playing in the snow. Here are some of hundreds of photos I took in the snowy fun.
